New Immigration Medicals and Visas (E-Medical)

Note:There will be no Immigration Clinic appointments from 24th December to 11th January

What to do for your appointment:

You will need to present at the practice to make the booking for your appointment.
The receptionist will give you a referral for blood tests. This must be done immediately to ensure the results are available to the doctor. Laboratories are located at 9 Isle Street, Queenstown or 3 Gray Street, Frankton. The results of the blood test take at least 3 days to be available to the doctor, so please ensure you allow for this.
We will take a copy of the photo page of your passport.
You will need to complete a short questionnaire so your details can be entered into the NZI website to keep your appointment time to a minimum.
The appointment:

The appointment will take 45 minutes and will be scheduled in one of our Immigration Clinics at 9 Isle Street, Queenstown - 4410500 on either
Tuesday mornings; or
Wednesday afternoon
You will then be given a request form for your X-Ray, which should be done immediately after your appointment.
You are only required to bring your passport if specifically requested.
Feel free to bring a friend or interpreter along if you think this will make the consultation easier.
Females - At the time of consultation with the Doctor you cannot be menstruating (have your period).
You will be asked to provide a urine sample so please ensure you have plenty to drink before your appointment.
Check in at reception on arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please advise our reception staff at least 3 working days (Monday to Friday) prior. A cancellation fee of $50 will be applied to cover the costs associated with uploading your details to iniate the e-medical on the INZ website.

Failure to cancel your appoint could mean additional charges as follows:

Non attendance on the day of appointment without notification - a charge of 70% of the advertised immigration fee will apply
Cancellation within 24 hours (1 working day) - a charge of 50% of the advertised immigration fee will apply
Cancellation within 48 hours (2 working days) - a charge of 30% of the advertised immigration fee will apply

You MUST bring your passport to the appointment to verify your identity.
