Forward planning and careful precautions can reduce the risks of health problems during your travel.
We have doctors and nurses who have qualified with a Diploma in Travel Medicine and are available to give you up to date and sound advice regarding your requirements for travel. The medical centre is also certified for yellow fever vaccination.
Specialised Travel Clinics are held weekly on Wednesday and Thursday morning.
BE PREPARED – It is best to make an appointment at least one month prior to travel.
Anyone travelling to the Pacific, Asia, South America and Africa who have not received professional travel advice will require a Full Consultation. This takes an hour or more and the cost includes:
- Advice on disease outbreaks occurring worldwide
- Advice on appropriate vaccinations and anti-malarial medication

You may only require a Vaccine Only Consultation if you:
- Have commenced the vaccination course at OUR practice and are returning for further vaccines
- Have already had a travel consult elsewhere
- Have begun travel vaccinations elsewhere
- Are a Seasoned Traveller who specifically knows what you want
This is a short consultation with the Dr & Nurse to ensure that the vaccines requested are appropriate.
Also available (but not included in the consultation fee) are:
- Vaccinations and anti-malarial medication
- Travel Products such as mosquito nets, travel socks, water purifiers and first aid kits
