Secure Direct Messaging

We want to make your health care more convenient.

As of 9th  December, Secure Direct Messaging and Open Consultation Notes are coming your way.

 

Secure direct messaging to your Doctor or Nurse Practitioner will become available through the ManageMy Health patient portal.   If you haven’t already done so, you will need to register and activate your account on-line.  Please ask one our team for more information.

Your message will go directly to your GP and be recorded in your medical notes.  Any services arising out of your message will attract a charge which will  vary depending on the time involved and the complexity of your request.  At the present time this service does not include a formal structured consultation and if this is needed you will be advised to make a face to face appointment.

The clinician will get back to you as soon as possible.  This may take up to 2 working days.  If your GP is away another member of your team will respond..

You will also be able to access the clinical notes in your records.  It can take up to 24 hours for these to be finalised.  Some clinicians write their notes in full at the time of the consultation, but others may make brief notes or headings and write them up later on the day.  Not all tasks associated with your visit will be done within this time frame as research and other actions may take longer.
