You do not need an appointment to see a clinician in our Urgent Care Clinic (also known as A&M) located at 9 Isle Street.  We operate 365 days a year and provide accident and acute medical services.

Urgent Care Services

We provide a one-stop location for most common medical problems with Medical and Nurse Practitioners available.

  • ACC contracted
  • quality management of injuries from skifields, bike tracks, other sports, home or workplace
  • full assessment of injuries
  • X-ray & laboratory services (open weekdays)
  • casting of fractures
  • hospital transfers where required

When to visit Urgent Care

Urgent Care is not emergency care. Urgent Care is available to assist patients with an illness or injury that does not appear to be life-threatening but also can't wait until the next day or the next appointment with their doctor. If it's not an emergency, you can visit our Urgent Care Clinic instead of going to the Accident & Emergency Clinic at Queenstown Hospital.

Fees

The fee schedule reflects the cost of a consultation with either a Medical or Nurse Practitioner.

Location

Our Urgent Care Clinic at 9 Isle St is just 250m (or a 5-minute walk) from Central Queenstown, or a 4-minute walk from the bottom of the gondola. Free parking is available in our patient carpark or on the street outside the clinic.
