The National Public Health Service (NPHS) can confirm one new measles case has been identified in the Queenstown area (Monday 29September) following recent travel. This is not linked to the cases identified in the Bay of Islands in Northland.

We advise protection against measle as it a very serious disease.
If you were born between 1969 and 2004 you might not be fully protected against measles.
Check everyone in your family had had two measles vaccines after the age of 12 months click HERE to check if you are immune.
