Telehealth at QMC
Phone-based care
Telephone appointments are time-saving for our patients. No need to negotiate traffic, parking or time off work. In most cases, a telephone appointment can replace an in-person consultation. Tests can be ordered, symptoms and treatment plans can be discussed. There are some exceptions to this if your condition requires something to be visually sighted or if you require hands-on examination from the clinician.

How to book telehealth
To use QMC's telehealth service please enrol with us. If you are already enrolled, please call reception to make a telehealth appointment at any of our 4 locations. Please ensure that we have your most up-to-date phone number on file when you make your booking.
Talk to a clinician from anywhere.
You can make your telehealth appointment with any of our GPs or Nurse Practitioners. Standard fees & appointment times apply. It is recommended to be in a quiet and private space when using our telehealth service so that you can speak and hear clearly. We also ask that you be close to your phone, ready to take the call five minutes prior to the start of your appointment.

We understand making the trip to visit your doctor can create more pressure. With telehealth there is no need to consider parking, traffic and time off work. Telehealth offers flexibility, convenience and saves you time.

Looking for Urgent Care? Or from out of town?
Urgent Care is available to assist patients with an illness or injury that does not appear to be life-threatening. No appointment needed to see a clinician at our Urgent Care Clinic Open 365 days a year for accident & acute medical services.
- Opening hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00am to 8:00pm & Weekends & Public Holidays: 10:00am-6:00pm
